Visual Identity for the “Można inaczej” Event – Case Study

Event visual identity is something that participants often do not perceive or notice on a conscious level. At the same time, it is an important organizational element, as appropriate materials introduce order and help participants navigate the course of the event, but also form part of the entire experience.

They fulfill their role well when they are a natural part of what is happening, support it, and quietly demonstrate that everything is refined and well thought out. This was exactly the case at the "Można inaczej" event for photographers, organized by Marta Woźna, where Krysztofiak Studio served as the creative partner.

Event Visual Identity and Brand Consistency

For such projects, the most important aspect for us is not the preparation of individual designs, but how the visual identity functions as a whole. We consider how it will operate in a specific space and what brand associations have already been established previously.

In the case of "Można inaczej," it was important that the event visual identity be consistent with the existing visual identity of the brand, which we designed for Marta in 2017. At the same time, it had to work well with the character of the event itself and everything that took place on site.

Materials Needed for the Event

Many different materials were created for the event. These included both designs promoting the event before it began and elements needed on site.

As part of the visual identity, we prepared the event logo, affirmation cards, promotional graphics for social media promoting the event itself as well as speakers and sponsors, table agendas, a large agenda board, tickets, a sponsor board, and gifts for participants such as notebooks, bag prints, and pencils.

Materials Promoting the Event

One part of this work consisted of promotional materials that appeared before the event itself. Their purpose was not only to convey the most important information, but also to build cohesive communication around the entire event.

This applied to both graphics promoting the event itself and materials related to speakers and sponsors. As a result, even before the meeting began, everything was communicated in an organized and recognizable manner. These materials also helped increase awareness of the upcoming event, as speakers and sponsors received graphics they could share on social media.

Materials Supporting On-Site Organization

The second important part consisted of materials that helped organize the flow of the event on site. Name badges, table agendas, a large agenda board, tickets, and a sponsor board primarily served a practical function.

It is precisely these elements that are often not consciously remembered, but they have great significance for the perception of the entire event. They help participants navigate the space and ensure that everything proceeds in a more natural and organized manner.

Gifts for Participants

A separate part of the event visual identity consisted of gifts prepared for participants. These included notebooks, bag prints, and pencils.

These are small elements, but they are often what complete the whole. They ensure that the event stays with participants afterward and leaves behind something more than just a memory.
