About Milimètres
Milimètres is an intimate, family-run brand based in Brussels, creating natural and handmade items for the home. Its offerings combine candles, wooden accessories, linen textiles, and everyday products, building a world around them based on simplicity, durability, and authentic craftsmanship.
The brand operates in Belgium and emphasizes the local, conscious nature of its products, showcasing the home as a space of peace, harmony, and a return to what truly matters.
Project Goals
The project aimed to create a cohesive brand image that reflects the natural, artisanal character of Milimètres and helps to more clearly present its offerings to customers in Belgium.
The brand operates from Brussels and builds its world around handmade home products: candles, wooden accessories, and natural additions. Therefore, the design was intended to emphasize values such as simplicity, durability, authenticity, and the quiet beauty of everyday life, while also organizing the brand's communication in a more aesthetic and legible way.

Logo
The Milimètres logo is based on a subtle, elegant logotype that immediately evokes associations with quality, tranquility, and artisanal precision. Its delicate form, thin lines, and botanical detail give it lightness, and the overall design fits the aesthetic of a brand creating beautiful, natural home items. It is a mark that does not dominate but discreetly emphasizes the brand's character and its love for simplicity.
Typography
The typography was chosen to emphasize the refined yet understated character of the brand. A noble typeface with classic proportions brings elegance and timelessness, while remaining light and calm in perception. The entire typographic system supports the slow living aesthetic. It is organized, subtle, and allows both the products and the brand's atmosphere to shine.
Color Palette
The color palette is based on warm, natural neutrals inspired by linen, raw paper, wood, and soft light. Shades of off-white, beige, sand, and delicate grays create an impression of peace, authenticity, and home warmth. These colors do not distract from the products but create a harmonious background for them and reinforce the brand's image as subtle, durable, and close to nature.
Backgrounds and Graphic Elements
The brand's graphic elements are based on subtle botanical illustrations, delicate lines, and ample negative space in the composition. Their role is not to dominate but to quietly complement the whole—introducing softness, naturalness, and a slightly romantic character, consistent with the brand's handmade, home-centric world. The entire graphic system has been kept in a very restrained form, thereby emphasizing the aesthetic of simplicity, quality, and the quiet beauty of everyday objects.
Printed Materials and Brand Experience
As part of the project, a set of printed materials was also created to extend the brand's identity in direct contact with the product. Stickers, thank-you notes, textile labels, and paper tags were designed in a cohesive, subtle aesthetic, emphasizing the natural and artisanal character of Milimètres. Thanks to their minimalist form, delicate details, and refined finish, these materials not only organize the brand's communication but also build a more polished, high-quality experience with every order.
